Franco Zeffirelli Museum & Music Hall

Located in the heart of Florence, just steps from the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria, the Franco Zeffirelli Museum & Music Hall is housed within the historic San Firenze Complex, one of the city's most remarkable Baroque landmarks.

Originally built in the 17th century as an oratory and religious complex, the building has witnessed centuries of Florentine history. Over time, its magnificent spaces evolved from places of worship and public life into a cultural destination dedicated to art, music and performance.

Today, the historic Sala della Musica offers exceptional acoustics and an intimate atmosphere for classical concerts and opera performances. As part of the Franco Zeffirelli Museum, the venue is surrounded by art, history and architecture, allowing guests to enjoy far more than a concert. Here, Florence's cultural heritage and timeless music come together to create an unforgettable evening in one of the city's most remarkable settings.

Franco Zeffirelli: Art, Opera & Cinema

At the heart of the complex lies the Franco Zeffirelli Museum, dedicated to one of Italy's most celebrated directors. Born in Florence, Zeffirelli achieved international fame through his work in opera, theater and cinema, collaborating with legendary figures such as Maria Callas, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

His acclaimed film Romeo and Juliet brought worldwide recognition to his artistic vision. Today, the museum preserves hundreds of original costumes, sketches, stage designs and photographs, offering visitors a unique journey through more than seventy years of creative excellence.

The complex is also home to the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and regularly hosts prestigious concerts, gala events, international cultural gatherings and exclusive performances, welcoming distinguished guests from around the world.

The Apericena

As the final notes fade into the Florentine night, the magic continues with an exclusive  “Apericena.” Beneath the historic vaults of the venue, guests are invited to savor a curated selection of fine local wines and gourmet Tuscan delights. It is the perfect sensory finale—a moment to toast with the artists, share the evening’s emotions, and let the flavors of Italy linger as long as the melody.
